Canine Naturals Hide Free Chews use absolutely NO RAWHIDE or any animal skin in our product. While other brands imply they are rawhide free based on their product name or state their products are made from “collagen”, they can’t say Rawhide Free on their package.  As such we proudly state 100% Rawhide Free directly on our packaging.

A study performed at the University of Illinois showed that our limited ingredient recipes digested almost 100% more than chews that imply they are rawhide free after the 6-hour phase of testing, and 400% more than rawhide.  ​

Canine Naturals: My New Favorite Brand

I've tried a couple of the Canine Naturals treats and chews lately on my two small dogs, and all of them have been a hit so far. The first thing I noticed about these mini peanut butter knots is that they smell like freshly ground peanuts. ​These cute little bones are perfect for my two dogs, but especially my picky little chihuahua. She has lost some teeth and generally prefers soft treats, but she loves these bones. It takes her less than 10 minutes to eat one, so it isn't a long chew to keep her busy. Still, it's a really nice treat for her.

My dogs also have sensitive digestive systems and recurring anal gland issues, and these mini knots haven't caused any trouble so far, which is a relief. Finally, I can appreciate that they don't leave stains on the carpets or dog beds where my dogs have been eating them.
